Introduction:

RPSC (Rajasthan Public service Commission) is an important organ of Rajasthan state which is entrusted with the duties and responsibilities to recruit officers for various department of Government of Rajasthan like: RAS (Rajasthan Administrative Services), RPS (Rajasthan Police Services), RAcS (Rajasthan Accounts Services) and other similar services. The entire process of recruitment is conducted by the RPSC. The office of RPSC is located at Ajmer, Rajasthan. Vacancies for various jobs are advertised by the RPSC, as and when, these vacancies are created by Government of Rajasthan and forwarded to commission for undertaking the recruitment process.

The working of Rajasthan Public Service Commission is regulated by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission Rules & Regulation, 1963, Rules framed by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission for conduct of their Business and the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (Regulations and validation of Procedure ordinance 1975 & Act 1976). The Commission came into existence with effect from 22nd August, 1949 through Government Gazette published on the date.

 This article is intended to update the aspirants about various time to time advertised jobs by the commission, so that they can timely know the state of releasing of vacancies through advertisements and other current stages and state of the various exams. 19 April, 2021:

1 Postponement of Interview Schedule ( 03/05/2021 to 07/05/2021) of Rajasthan State & Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Exam, 2018.

(i) RPSC vide notification dated 19/04/2021 has notified that interview scheduled from 03/05/2021 to 07/05/2021 have been postponed because of arising of unusual circumstances due to severity of pandemic Covid-19.

(ii) Next revised dates will be notified in due course of time.

(iii) Interview schedule from 19/04/2021 to 30/04/2021 has already been postponed vide RPSC notification dated 16/04/2021.

16 April, 2021:

2 Postponement of Interview Schedule of Rajasthan State & Subordinate Services Combined Competitive Exam, 2018.

(i) RPSC has notified vide notification dated 16/04/2021 that interview scheduled from 19/04/2021 to 30/04/2021 have been postponed because of arising of unusual circumstances due to severity of pandemic Covid-19.

(ii) Next revised dates will be notified in due course of time.

(iii) However, interview schedule from 03/05/2021 to 07/05/2021 will be held as pre-scheduled. If, any change in schedule will be intimated in due course of time.

3 06 April, 2021: (i) RPSC vide notification dated 06 April, 2021 has notified that the unsuccessful candidates in Assistant Engineer ( Civil/ Electrical/ Mechanical) Exam -2018 ( main) can apply for RETOTALLING of marks obtained by them in Answer sheet. Result declared on 04/03/2021.

(ii) For this, candidate can apply on simple paper addressed to ”Secretary, RPSC Ajmer” along with copy of marks sheet and mentioning specific question and IPO of Rs 25/- for each question for which candidate desire re totaling. Fees for Re-totaling is to be submitted as per number of questions for retotaling.

(iii) Candidate can submit their application in office of RPSC between 07/04/2021 to 27/04/2021.

(iii) No application will be entertained after 27/04/2021.

(iv) Re-evolution of Answer sheet will not be done in any circumstances.

Press release for Re totaling of marks of un successful candidates in RAS/RTS Combined Exam ( Main), 2018

(i) RPSC vide notification dated 18/03/2021 has notified that unsuccessful candidates of the exam can apply for retotaling of marks from 19/03/2021 to 05/04/2021 on plain paper.

(ii) For every question , postal order of Rs 25/- in favour of ”Secretary , RPSC ”will be accompanied.

(iii) After, 05/04/2021, no application for Re totaling will be entertained.

(iv) Re evaluation of newssheets will not be done in any circumstances.

18/03/2021:

Second Phase interviews of RAS/RTS Combined Exam, 2018

(i) RPSC vide notification dated 18/03/2021 has notified that second phase of interview will be held from 31/03/2021 to 07/05/2021.

(ii) Total 1709 candidates will be interviewed till date.

RPSC vide press note dated 09 March 2021 has notified that incompliance of order dated petition of 05 March, 2021 of Honorable Rajasthan High Court in respect of writ petition of Namrita Jat Vs Govt of Rajasthan an expert committee has been constituted who will go into the details  for necessary action on all the questions challenged before the Honorable High Court. Commission will take necessary action as per report submitted by the Expert Committee. Further, there is no delay on the part of the RPSC.

INTRODUCTION

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is the core banking body of the India and controls and monitor the monetary policy of the country. It regulates all the banks and provides essential financial services like inflation control, the issue of currency, storage of foreign exchange reserves etc. RBI,from 2015 started conducting a national-level recruitment examination for selection of Grade ‘B’ level officers. The RBI Grade B recruitment test comprises of three stages: Phase I, Phase II (both Online), and an interview.   Close to 2 lakhs candidates took the RBI Grade ‘B’ Phase I exam.

Note :- Candidates need to carry a photo identity proof along with the admission letter on the day of the examination. The Admission letter is mandatory for appearing in the examination and strictly not transferable.

NIRF Ranking System


The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) is a system that was adopted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development(MHRD), Government of India, to rank institutions of higher education in India. This framework was constituted on 29 October, 2014 and has been approved by the MHRD and was launched by the Minister of Human Resource Development on 29 September, 2015.

The first round of rankings was released by MHRD in 2017, in which about 3500 institutions participated.

NIRF Rankings are released for Ten categories such as Overall, University, Engineering, College, Management, Pharmacy, Law, Architecture and Medical and Dental. There are separate rankings for different types of institutions depending on their areas of operation with varying weightage depending on the institution.

INTRODUCTION:

Founded in the year 1919 by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, IIT(BHU), Varanasi was initially called Banaras Engineering College. Apparently, it was only designated as IIT BHU in the year 2012, by the effect of the Act of Parliament. The institute is located in Varanasi(Uttar pradesh), and it is well connected with all the parts of the country by all means of transportation. ADMISSION PROCEDURE

IIT-BHU has different procedures for admission to the different courses. 

B.Tech

Admission procedure begins with a candidate’s rank in JEE-Advanced and centralized counselling by the which Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).

 The seat allotment is based on the college cutoff and candidate’s preference of courses and colleges. The registration and choice filling of JoSAA 2020 generally begins from the third week of June in online mode.

Admission to this program is offered to GATE qualified/sponsored candidate through departmental level screening test/counseling.

Admission to MPharm programme is based on GPAT exam.

BPharm or an equivalent degree in Pharmacy with a minimum 60% aggregate or CGPA/CPI of 6 in 10 point scale (without rounding off) in the qualifying degree. For SC/ST candidates, the qualifying marks would be 55% in aggregate.

PhD

SCHOLARSHIP

IIT- BHU offers Merit-cum-Means scholarships to 25% undergraduate students.

 Also, there are several endowment scholarships offered by the Institute. Some other facilities are also provided to the undergraduate students in the form of Institute free studentship, scholarship, re-imbursement of mess charges and pocket allowances to the students belonging to the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

All the students (non-sponsored) admitted to M.Tech./M.Pharm. programmes are provided financial Assistance equivalent to the Junior Research Fellowships.

The Institute also offers a large number of Junior/Senior Research Fellowships to students admitted to Ph.D. programmes.

Vidya Lakshmi is a portal for Education Loan for students needs financial support. It is  developed under the guidance of Department of Financial Services (Ministry of Finance, Government of India), Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Human Resource Development(MHRD), and Indian Banks’ Association (IBA), and being maintained by NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited. Students can view and find suitable educational loan schemes from this portal. They can apply and track their loan applications to banks, anytime, anywhere, by accessing the portal.

The portal also provides a link to the National Scholarship Portal, where students can search and find various scholarships provided by the Government of India.

38 Banks are registered on this portal and 127 loan scheme.

INTRODUCTION

IIT Gandhinagar is among the eight new IITs established in 2008 announced by the Ministry of Human Resource Development(MHRD). The institute began operating in a temporary campus at Vishwakarma Government Engineering College. It was mentored by Indian Institute of Technology Bombay(IITB). The Institute IIT-GN was included in the Institutes of Technology (Amendment) Act, 2011. The first batch of students was admitted to three programmes: Mechanical Engineering,Chemical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.

LOCATION

The Institute is located approximately 26 km from Ahmedabad Airport and 28 km from Ahmedabad Railway Station at Palaj, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. Ahmedabad is well connected via trains, air and Road from all the major cities of India.

RANKING OF IIT-GN

Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT-GN) climbed 16 positions to be ranked at number 35 in the overall category and retained its number 24 rank in the engineering category by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) of Year -2020.

Also, IIT-GN is rated India’s first 5-star GRIHA LD (Green) campus for minimizing the negative impact on the environment. It has been declared India’s first 5-star campus for ensuring food safety and promoting healthy eating.

CAMPUS OF IIT-GN

The campus is spread in 400 acres on the bank of river Sabarmati.

The campus has world-class academic infrastructure and hostel is largely self-sufficient with most daily needs and services available within the campus.

The students are accommodated in six different hostels. In each hostel, a resident caretaker follows up on all routine maintenance issues. Each student is issued basic furniture including chair, study table, cot and mattress at the beginning of the academic year. ADMISSION PROCEDURE

B Tech

The admission to B. Tech is done through the Joint Entrance Examination JEE( Advanced) conducted by one of the IIT turn by turn and Allocation of seats is centrally done by JOSAA.

M Tech

For M. Tech, Minimum of 55% marks/ 5.5 (on a 10 point scale) in B.E. /B.Tech./M.Sc. or equivalent in appropriate branches is required (50% marks for SC /ST).  

Also, candidates who have a valid GATE score (at the time of interview/written test) are eligible to apply for M.Tech.

GATE is not required for application to M.Tech. on a part-time basis or for the PGDIIT programme.

B.Tech. graduates from the IITs with CGPA/CPI of 8.0 or above (on scale of 10) would be eligible to admission without having to appear in GATE.

Candidates applying for the regular M.Tech. programme and who are sponsored by their employers do not require GATE score and can be considered as sponsored candidates provided:

(a) candidate must be in service for more than 2 years

(b) employer grants 2 years of study leave and,

(c) employer undertakes to financially support the candidate for the entire duration of 2 years course.

Note: The eligibility criteria mentioned above is minimum and the disciplines may use higher cut-off levels for shortlisting. Candidates belonging to EWS/SC/ST/PD.

M Sc

Admission to MSc in Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics disciplines is through the Joint Admission Test for M.Sc.

Admission to the Cognitive Science program is through the Institute’s own written test and interview process.

MA

Admission to MA Program is done on the basis of entrance test and interview ( to be held at Gandhinagar).

The Institute will invite a limited number of candidates for a written test and interview based on the academic records and aptitude for graduate study in the humanities and social sciences. 

The final selection will be based on all of above, viz., academic records, aptitude for graduate studies, written test and interview.

Notes: (a) The Institute may also exercise the option of offering admission to a few outstanding candidates based on academic records without calling them for written test and/or interview.

(b) Candidates appearing for the Test/Interview will be reimbursed any amount exceeding Rs. 750/- for to and fro single second-sleeper class railway fare by the shortest route from their place of residence to the Institute /venue of the Test / Interview. 

PGDIIT

Application procedure for the PGDIIT programme is the same as for the MTech programme, however, the PGDIIT programme is only for one year and does not have any research credit requirements.

PhD

For PhD , at least 55% marks or 5.5 CPI marks is required in M.A./M.Sc./B.Tech./M.Tech. or equivalent degree in appropriate branches. This eligibility criteria is minimum at Institute level.

## Fees amount received by the Institute from JOSAA will be adjusted against this amount and the balance amount will only be paid.

Notes: (i) The institute has extended the full tuition fee waiver/reimbursement facility to UG students having annual parental income of up to Rs. 2.5 lakhs. Students whose family income is between Rs. 2.5 lakh to Rs. 5.0 lakhs per annum, shall pay only 1/3rd of the tuition fee.
(ii) The students whose annual family income is less than Rs. 9,00,000/- shall have access to interest free loan under the Vidyalaxmi scheme for the total portion of the tuition fee payable.
(ii) Further, students may request financial support as scholarships, grants, and loans.

SCHOLARSHIP

IIT Gandhinagar extends the various scholarships/loans to the financial suppressed candidates based on merit.

A summary of financial assistance to students as per their need in various forms are detailed as under:-

1. Merit scholarships:

 Rs. 2 Lakh per year per student (for 4 years) for all students admitted to the BTech program at IITGN and holding a  JEE Advanced rank of 1000 (or better) or having represented India in any recognized international Olympiad.

     2. Donor Scholarships:

Donor Scholarship as listed here-under supports various activities including international and domestic internships, special projects, and financial need.

                         (i). Scholarship Worth Rs. 1.00 Lakh   49

                         (ii). Scholarship Worth Rs. 50,000/-     01

                         (iii)  Scholarship Worth Rs. 40,000/-    01

4   Interest-free short-term and long-term loans:

 IITGN also  grants interest-free short-term and long-term loans based on students’ need to support their academic requirements, excellence activities, purchase of laptop/PC and in some cases even personal expenses. Students can also apply to pay tuition and other fees in instalments.

5  EWYL (Earn While You Learn) program:

It aims to help students to get a first-hand professional work experience while getting paid for it. The  selected students’ under EWYL program can work for a maximum of 10 hours per week during the semester and 40 hours per week during vacations. The remuneration provided is tentatively in the range of Rs.150 – 200 per hour.

6 TML-FAP (Tata Motors Ltd. Financial Aid Program):

IIT Gn in association with Tata Motors Ltd. provides financial assistance to students from economically weaker backgrounds through the TML-FAP (Tata Motors Ltd. Financial Aid Program) which is open to all the undergraduate students of IIT Gandhinagar.

7 Scholarships and financial support for international internships, financial rewards for undergraduate research publications are also made available.

EDUCATION LOAN

Vidya Lakshmi is a portal for students needs Education Loan. It is  developed under the guidance of Department of Financial Services (Ministry of Finance, Government of India), Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Human Resource Development(MHRD), and Indian Banks’ Association (IBA), and being maintained by NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Limited. Students can view and find suitable educational loan schemes from this portal. They can apply and track their loan applications to banks, anytime, anywhere, by accessing the portal.

The portal also provides a link to the National Scholarship Portal, where students can search and find various scholarships provided by the Government of India.

38 Banks are registered on this portal and 127 loan scheme.
