Is UserCrowd legit? is a common question that I get asked and the short answer is YES!

In this post I will explain in more detail what UserCrowd is and give my opinion on whether you should sign up or not.

What is UserCrowd?

UserCrowd is a user testing panel that pays you to give your opinion of web pages, graphics and logos.

You are basically giving feedback on what you see in front of you and not testing live websites.

The tasks are quick and easy, but also won’t make you rich.

You are giving your opinion as a consumer rather than a tech wizard so anyone can do it.

It is available Worldwide so there is a good chance it will be available in your Country.

How to sign up to UserCrowd

To sign up to UserCrowd go to the UserCrowd website.

Click ‘Sign Up’ in the top corner and fill in the required details. Then you can complete your profile which will allow you to start receiving tests.

The more details you provide will give you a better chance of receiving tests.

Once your account is set up you will then receive an email when a test is available.

How does UserCrowd work?

UserCrowd sends out test invitations based on the details you have provided on your profile.

When tests are sent out they are on a first come first served basis so you will need to be quick to get the test.

After you click to accept the test you will then be put through to the test screen. What you need to do will depend on the type of test you receive. Just follow the instructions and answer as honestly and detailed as possible.

The tests will usually only take 1 or 2 minutes to complete.

Some tests will only be available on mobile and some may only be on desktop.

How much can I earn on UserCrowd?

As these are usually very short tasks, UserCrowd certainly won’t make you rich.

On the tasks I have received I have earned between $0.20 to $1.40. This isn’t a lot but up to $1.40 for a few minutes isn’t too bad.

You can cash out once you have earned $10. This could take a while if you aren’t quick enough to get the tests when they are available.

You can cash out via PayPal once you meet the threshold.

What are the pros and cons of UserCrowd?

The Pros of UserCrowd are;

  • Free to sign up
  • Quick to complete tasks
  • Easy tasks
  • Available Worldwide
  • Cash out via PayPal

The Cons of UserCrowd are;

  • You have to be quick to get the task
  • It can take a while to get to $10 cash out limit

Is UserCrowd Legit?

So is UserCrowd legit?

Well yes this is a legitimate website that you can earn a small amount of money from without taking up too much time.

This won’t be suitable for some but if you are interested, it is worth signing up for free and you haven’t really got anything to lose.

Want to see what UserCrowd has to offer?

If you are still not convinced that UserCrowd is legit or if it just isn’t for you, there are some interesting ways to make money here.

Reselling web hosting is a great way to set up a brandable business with low startup costs and excellent profit potential.

In this post we will look at the pros and cons of reselling web hosting and how you can create a new business with this model or use it as an additional income stream to your current venture.

What Is Reseller Web Hosting

Reseller web hosting is where you buy web hosting from a large hosting company and resell their packages to your own clients under your own company name.

There are many hosting companies that sell reseller web hosting so deciding on which one to choose can be difficult.

If you already use a web hosting company for your own websites and are happy with their services it might be worth checking if they offer a reselling service.

To see the web hosting company that I recommend check out the link below.

See my number 1 choice for reseller hosting

Don’t miss this deal

What Are The Benefits Of Reseller Web Hosting

So why should you choose to sell reseller web hosting? Below you will find some of the main advantages of reseller hosting.

  • Low start up cost
  • Easy to create your own brand
  • Quick to set up
  • Support from a larger company
  • Not location dependant
  • Good profit margin

These are some of the advantages of this business model. Keep reading to see each one in more detail.

Low Start Up Cost

Starting this type of business has very low start up costs. Once you have chosen your reseller hosting package you will have just one monthly payment.

On top of the hosting payment your costs will be dependant on the equipment that you need to buy. You might need to buy a PC or a laptop for example. If you already have these things then you can keep your costs down.

Another way to keep costs low is to work from home. This will save on office rental costs.

Easy To Create Your Own Brand

Inside your reseller hosting dashboard you will be able to create individual hosting accounts for your clients with your own company branding.

This means your clients will only see your company name and not the name of the hosting company you are using.

Quick To Set Up

Once you have decided which reseller hosting company you are going to use it is very quick to get set up.

Your reseller account can be set up very quickly and you can start adding clients as soon as you have some.

Support From Larger Company

As you are reselling web hosting from a larger company you will get their support if you run into any issues while you are running your business.

Having this support is very useful especially in the early stages of your business.

Not Location Dependant

As this business is totally online you can run your business from anywhere. You don’t need to be local to the web hosting company or your clients so you have the freedom to live and work wherever you want.

Good Profit Margin

The overheads in a web hosting reselling business are low so your profit margin is high. You can set your own prices to reflect the profit you need from each client.

Once your monthly hosting payment is covered, all new clients from that point are profit.

How Do I Buy Reseller Web Hosting

Purchasing reseller web hosting is very quick and easy to do. If you have bought any kind of web hosting before it is exactly the same.

Usually the hardest part is deciding which reseller hosting company to use but I have done the research for you (see my recommended web hosting company here).

Once you have clicked the link through to the hosting company website you then select ‘RESELLER HOSTING’.

Click on ‘COMPARE PLANS’.

Now you will see 4 different hosting plans.

Choose the plan that you want (either of the two cheapest plans will probably be fine when you first start).

Then you fill in your details and within a few minutes you have your hosting.

Should I Buy The Cheapest Reseller Web Hosting?

Buying the cheapest reseller web hosting is not always the best way to go. Always do your own research and read reviews or listen to recommendations (check out my choice of reseller hosting here).

Always make sure it is a reliable company and what they are offering suits your needs both now and when your business grows in the future.

How Do I Make Money Reselling Web Hosting?

To make money selling web hosting you need to find some clients who want your hosting service.

Each client that you get pays you a monthly or yearly hosting fee (at whatever price you set). The amount you pay to your hosting company stays the same so once you have one or two clients you will have probably covered your own hosting costs.

Once your costs are covered, everything else is profit.

How Do I Find Clients

How you find client for your web hosting business depends on any other services that you provide.

For example – if you offer a web design service you can then offer a web hosting service to the same clients. This adds an ongoing monthly income to add to any money that you make designing websites.

If you don’t offer a web design service you can reach out to local businesses to see if they need your services, advertise through pay per click ads (such as Google and Facebook) or build your own website for your hosting service.

How Much Can I Make Reselling Web Hosting?

How much you make will depend on how you market your reselling business. The profit margin is very high so you don’t need too many clients to cover your costs.

For example – if you pay £20 a month for your reseller hosting package and charge your clients £10 per month you only need two clients to cover your costs.

What you charge is entirely up to you and how you package your own hosting plans.

Offering additional services (such as web design and maintenance) can increase the amount you earn compared to just offering hosting services.

Is Selling Web Hosting Worth It?

Whether or not this is the business for you depends on your own skills and circumstances. Iif you are a WordPress web designer this is definitely a service you need to be offering your clients.

If you don’t have web design clients it will be harder to sell your hosting services but due to the low start up costs is worth a try.

I hope this has given you some ideas to make some additional income and if you give it a try I wish you the best of luck with your new venture.

Which is the best online free lottery? Well that probably depends where you live but in this post I am going to show you how you can enter free lottery draws every day.

Which is the best online free lottery?

The best online free lottery in my opinion is PickMyPostcode. As I have already mentioned this lottery is totally free to play and gives you multiple chances to win a prize.

Can anyone sign up?

To be eligible for PickMyPostcode you must be 18 or over and and a U.K. resident with a postcode.

If you meet this criteria you can fill in your details on the site and then confirm your email to activate your account. You are then immediately in the draw.

Join the best online free lottery

click below for full details

What Can I Win?

As this is a free lottery you won’t win millions but if it’s free what have you got to lose? The main draw has a jackpot of around £200 but there are other smaller prizes giving you more chances to win.

You can also get cash just for checking the results each day. This cash is only a few pence but if you check every day it will add up.

In total there is over £600 in prizes to be won each day.

How can they give away free money?

The reason they can give away free money is by having advertising on the website. As you have to log onto the website each day to see if you are a winner, this produces a lot of traffic to the site and generates an income which can then be given in prizes.

Is it worth my time?

Whether or not it is worth spending time logging in each depends on your personal point of view.

It only takes a few seconds to log on and check and if you are a winner then it’s happy days. If you haven’t won at least you have given yourself a chance by signing up and logging in.

If you like the sound of a free lottery you can find out the full details and sign up here.

If you are looking for simple tips to save money you are not alone. With rising costs our cash is disappearing at an alarming rate and we need ways to hold onto it a bit longer.

When we get paid, most of us watch as the money flies out of our bank accounts to pay the household bills and living expenses.

To help you out I have put together 15 quick and easy tips to save money and help you keep hold of more cash.

1. Save as soon as you get paid

Most people pay their bills, spend their hard earned cash and hope that there is some left at the end of the month to save.

A lot of the time you will find that the money runs out and your savings account is still empty.

The most consistent and efficient way to save is to pay into your savings account as soon as you are paid. This removes the temptation to spend (or waste) any extra money in your bank account. Doing this can quickly build a good amount of money.

Obviously not everyone will have any spare cash to do this but if you have, you will soon reap the benefits with this method.

If you don’t have any spare cash, keep reading to find some tips to save money that you can put into practice.

2. Create an emergency fund

This links in with the previous tip.

Saving some money as soon as you are paid is a great start.

Another thing to do is to create an emergency fund. If you can save up an amount which equals 3-6 months of your expenses this will take a lot of financial pressure from your life.

Any unexpected bills can be paid from this fund. It can ease the worry if you were to suddenly lose your job or be unable to work through illness or accident.

If you do need to dip into this fund for any reason make sure you top it back up as soon as possible.

But remember this money is for emergencies only and not the new mobile phone or TV that you have seen!

3. Don’t have debt

Avoid debt whenever possible. Paying interest on your debts will take a lot of your cash and the debt can take years to pay off.

If you have any savings always use these first before committing to debt. If debt is the only option make sure the item you are purchasing with the debt is absolutely necessary.

4. Transfer credit cards to 0%

If you have credit cards that you can’t pay off immediately you could try transferring them to a 0% interest credit card.

These type of cards usually come with a fee to transfer over so always take this into account.

If you transfer to a new 0% interest card make sure you stop using the old one to prevent racking up more debt.

5. Don’t panic buy – Use the 30 day rule

When you are making a large purchase don’t rush out and buy it straight away. Even if you have the money, give yourself 30 days to think about it.

This avoids the ‘shiny object syndrome’. Sometimes when you see something you really want it and buy it without thinking.

Giving yourself 30 days to think about it gives you a clearer head to make the decision.

If you don’t think you need it after 30 days you have saved yourself some money.

6. Use cash

Try to use cash for your purchases. When I say ‘use cash’ that doesn’t necessarily mean actual physical notes. It could be on your debit card for example.

Whether you use physical cash or debit card it still means you are using money that you actually have either in your hand or in your bank account.

This means you aren’t risking getting into debt and it will make you think more about what you are spending and if you need to spend the money at all.

7. Cancel subscriptions that you don’t need

We all subscribe to different things from time to time. This could be a gym membership or TV subscription for example.

Quite often we don’t think about them or consider how much we use them.

Take a look at all your monthly subscriptions and think about how much you use them and consider whether you actually need them at all.

Any subscriptions that you don’t need can be cancelled.

8. Lower subscription costs

As I have just mentioned about cancelling unused subscriptions, it is also worth trying to lower any subscription costs for any that you do need.

Subscriptions like TV and broadband can often be negotiated lower depending on your contract situation.

It is always worth making a few phone calls and asking if you can get a cheaper price.

Always be persistent and don’t be afraid to tell them that you would like to cancel as they will often offer a cheaper price in this instance.

I recently lowered my TV subscription by almost 50% by spending a few minutes on a phone call.

If your current supplier won’t give a discount and you are not tied into a contract, try contacting an alternative company and see what they will offer.

9. Use energy efficient products

Using energy efficient products can save lot’s of money on energy bills.

Simply changing light bulbs or buying energy efficient appliances can soon add up to a good saving.

Despite a higher initial cost products like LED light bulbs will not only use less energy but also last longer saving you much more in the long term.

Need LED light bulbs?

Check out some prices here and start saving money

10. Fit a smart meter

When you are looking for tips to save money having a smart meter fitted in your home is one of the easiest.

A smart meter will allow you to keep an eye on your energy consumption.

When you can see what energy is being used you are more inclined to be more efficient with it.

Switching off lights, TV’s and other products can soon start to lower your bills.

Your energy supplier will usually install a smart meter for free so it is worth having one fitted.

11. Keep track of your spending

Another way to save money is to keep track of your spending.

When you know exactly how much money is going out each month and where it is going it is easier to work out where you can make savings and where you are wasting money.

This will allow you to take action and cut down on unnecessary expenses.

Create a spreadsheet or even just write it down in a notebook. It doesn’t matter as long as you can easily see your outgoings.

12. Use cheaper brands

Do you have certain food brands that you buy every time? Most people do but you could be spending way more than you need to.

Next time you do your shopping, instead of choosing your usual brand choose the next price level down. You might be pleasantly surprised that there isn’t much difference (except the price).

Once you have done this you can keep going down to the next level and see if you can save even more.

Eventually you will find the right balance between cost and quality for everything that you buy.

The savings will soon add up.

13. Plan your meals

Planning your meals will help you to waste less food and save you money.

By making a plan you will know exactly what food you need to buy and how much. This will stop you spending money on food that you don’t need and you won’t have food that doesn’t get used.

Millions of pounds worth of food is wasted each year and we quite often don’t notice how much we throw away.

Being more efficient with your meal planning can make a big difference.

14. Use your own shopping bags

Now you might think that spending a small amount on a shopping bag isn’t going to make a difference. The truth is every penny that you save can help.

It is easy to take your own bags with you to the supermarket and the savings over the year will make a difference.

You are also helping the environment so what have you got to lose.

15. Use your car less

We often just jump in the car without thinking. If you stop and consider whether there is an alternative you could save some money.

Could you walk to where you are going or even cycle. It might be possible to work from home instead of driving to work everyday. You might want to consider whether you even need a car at all.

Think about how and when you use your car and always look for lower cost alternatives.

Always look for tips to save money

I hope these 15 tips to save money have helped you out and got you thinking about other ways to save.

Every time we spend money there is probably a cheaper option. Always try to find it and you will soon streamline your spending and lower your outgoings.

If you found this useful you might want to check out the other money saving tips on this website. You can find more here.

Do you want to complete tasks for money online? If you are looking for simple tasks that allow you to get paid quickly then this could be the post for you.

All the websites listed are free to sign up to and offer various ways to earn money online.

Complete Tasks For Money Online – What It Means

So what do I mean when I say you can complete tasks for money online? There are websites that will pay you for performing certain tasks like completing surveys or signing up for offers.

When you complete each task you will be paid the amount offered. On some sites these payments are made instantly and others will have a payment threshold that you have to reach before you can claim your reward.

Some of these websites will pay you just for signing up.

Let’s look at some of the sites that I use to complete tasks for money online.

Oh My Dosh

Oh My Dosh is a site that has numerous ways to earn money online. These include completing surveys, signing up for offers, downloading apps and much more.

The home screen looks like the image below.

Why Should I Sign Up To Oh My Dosh?

There are many reasons why this is a good site to join. If you are looking to complete surveys you can get sign up bonuses for joining some of the biggest survey websites around.

The Oh My Dosh sign up bonus is on top of any additional bonus that you would receive for signing up directly with the survey site itself.

You can also earn money for signing up for offers with retailers. It is worth checking them out in case there are any that you were thinking of signing up for anyway.

Cash can also be earned for signing up for free trials with retailers. (Always remember to cancel any free trial before the free period ends).

How Much Can I Earn With Oh My Dosh?

The amount that you can earn on this site will vary depending on how much you use it and the type of tasks you complete.

Signing up for survey sites and free trials can earn you a few pounds each. If you choose to sign up for phone and broadband deals or insurance offers then you could earn as much as £50+.

If you are just using the site for the smaller offers and only logging on every few days you can still probably earn an easy £5-£10 per week.

Obviously if you take any of the larger offers or you log on more regularly this can be increased.

Once you have £10 in earnings you can withdraw to either Paypal or your bank account.

Qmee

If you have read other posts on this blog you might have heard me mention Qmee before. This is one of my favourite websites to make quick and easy cash.

Why Should I Sign Up To Qmee?

One of the main reasons to sign up to this site is that it gives you some very easy ways to make money online. There is also an app available so you can easily access the tasks from your phone.

As well as the usual surveys which are regularly available, you can also earn from signing up for offers, searching the internet (by installing the Qmee browser extension) and answering quiz questions.

Earnings for each task can be quite low but if you are consistent the cash can soon mount up.

Another benefit of this website is that there is no cash out threshold. That means you can choose to take your cash immediately if required.

I usually let it build up for a while before withdrawing to PayPal.

How Much Can I Earn With Qmee?

You certainly won’t get rich or quit your job by using Qmee but it will earn you quick and easy money.

Most of the tasks are quite low paid so you might want to pick and choose which ones are worth your time.

It tells you how long each survey is expected to take and the payment for completing it so you can make your decision.

The offers tend to be in the form of cashback on your purchases or a percentage discount so can be worthwhile if you were intending on buying the product anyway.

The daily quiz question only takes a few seconds to answer but will only earn you a few pence. It is quick and easy to access it from your phone so it helps to build up your cash balance.

You can see a more detailed review of Qmee here.

Usercrowd

Usercrowd is a website which allows you to take short design surveys to test the usability of websites and apps.

Why Should I Sign Up To Usercrowd?

The surveys on Usercrowd are very quick to complete (usually 1-2 minutes) and can be interesting if you like giving feedback on the user experience of apps and websites.

As the surveys are short, they can be completed when you are on a break at work or whenever you get a few minutes of spare time without intruding on your day.

After completing your profile you will receive regular emails with new tests that you are eligible for. These tests are on a first come first served basis so you need to be quick.

How Much Can I Earn With Usercrowd?

The rewards for completing surveys on Usercrowd are quite low but are not to bad for the time taken.

Like all of the sites in this post you get small regular amounts which don’t take long to earn.

Most Usercrowd surveys take 1-2 minutes and pay around $0.20-$0.40 per minute.

You can cash out your earnings to PayPal when your balance reaches $10.

Take a look at Usercrowd

Sign up for free and give your opinion on new websites and apps

Is Completing Tasks For Money Online Worth It?

The answer to this question depends on how you value your time. The amount that you might receive if added up per hour is probably quite low and might seem to be a waste of time.

You could look at it another way though. Some of these tasks only take a few seconds or minutes to complete. When completed on a regular basis this can soon add up.

These tasks won’t make you rich but it is a nice little bonus when you cash out for £10, £20 or even more on occasions.

As always, everyone will have a different opinion as to what is worth doing online. Why not take a look at these websites and make up your own mind.

Good luck with your search for great ways to make money in your spare time.

Do you want to make money reselling but don’t know where to start? Or are you just looking for an easy way to make some extra cash? Whichever it is you are in the right place.

Here you will find exactly what reselling is and learn how to get started on your reselling journey.

Let’s look at how anyone can easily make money reselling.

What Is Reselling?

The definition of reselling is ‘to sell (something) again’. Basically what you are doing is buying something from one place and selling it on for a higher price to someone else.

As the items that you choose to sell can be anything, you will never be short of stock or ideas as to what you can sell.

Once you learn the do’s and don’ts of reselling you can soon build a profitable side hustle.

Why You Should Become A Reseller

So why is reselling a great business and why should you become a reseller?

There are lot’s of reasons that a reselling business is a good idea. Below are a few of them.

  • Low start up cost
  • Quick and easy to set up
  • Low time commitment
  • Fits easily around your day job
  • Easy to change your product choices

Let’s look at them in more detail.

Low Start Up Cost

You can start your reselling business with a very low initial investment. Start small with just a few items and re-invest the profit to buy more stock. I started my reselling business with less than £20 and quickly turned it into a side hustle that was making hundreds of pounds a month.

Quick And Easy To Set Up

Unlike most businesses or side hustles, reselling can be set up very quickly. Once you have purchased some stock to sell you can have your items up for sale online within minutes and start making money straight away.

Low Time Commitment

The work involved in this type of business doesn’t take up too much time if you organise your workload efficiently.

Once you have listed your items for sale there isn’t much more to do until something sells. Then you just pack it and post it out to the customer.

You might have to spend some time researching products or answering questions from customers but this is unlikely to take up much time, especially at the beginning.

Fits Easily Around Your Day Job

A reselling business can fit easily around your day job or other commitments. If you sell your items online then you can work whatever times suit you and your lifestyle.

Easy To Change Your Product Choices

This type of business makes it very easy to change the type of products that you sell or even allows you to sell any type of product if you don’t want to specialise in a particular niche.

If you start off with a certain type of product and find it isn’t as successful as you hoped, you can just switch to a different niche and try again.

Where To Buy Stock

There are many different places that you can find to buy stock for your reselling business. A few of the most popular ones are listed below.

  • Charity shops/Thrift stores
  • Car boot sales/Garage sales
  • Retail stores
  • Facebook marketplace
  • eBay

Now we will take a look at the reasons why I think these are a good place to start looking for your stock.

Charity Shops/Thrift Stores

Charity shops or thrift stores can be a very good place to buy stock at a low price. They usually have a wide range of items for sale so whatever niche you are in, you will probably find something to resell.

This is the place I source most of my stock and have had a lot of success with it.

Car Boot Sales/Garage Sales

Like charity shops and thrift stores, car boot sales or garage sales can provide a good variety of products at competitive prices.

These can be seasonal due to the weather especially if you are in the U.K. like me! Car boot sale season usually starts here in April and finishes around September so can’t really be used to buy your stock all year round.

They are worth looking at while they are available though.

Retail Stores

It is possible to find items to resell from retail stores. Retail arbitrage as it’s known, can be very profitable if you manage to find the right items.

The type of products you are looking for are end of line or sale items with big reductions in shops and supermarkets which you will then sell at nearer the usual retail price.

This method works well as the items that are on sale at your local shops might not be on sale elsewhere so will sell well online as your items are available to the whole country or even the rest of the World.

As this method involves new products rather than used ones you don’t have to worry about having to describe the condition of the item in as much detail as you do with used items.

Facebook Marketplace

Facebook marketplace is a good option to find used items at a reasonable price.

You are limited to what you will find in your local area and usually have to be quick as popular items can sell quickly.

It’s always worth having a regular look at what’s available as you never know when a bargain will appear.

eBay

Another place to look for bargains is eBay. In particular it is worth looking for items that are being sold on auction rather than ‘buy it now’. If you find an item that no doesn’t have bids on or with low competition you can sometimes bag a bargain. Just remember to take the postage costs into account when you bid to make sure there is enough profit left in it.

Where To Sell Your Items

If you want to make money reselling you need to sell your items.

Luckily finding somewhere to sell your items is very easy as there are lot’s of options. The place you choose will probably depend on your location and the type of products you are selling or maybe just which platform you are most familiar with.

Here are a few that I have used.

  • eBay
  • Amazon
  • Depop
  • Vinted
  • Facebook Marketplace

There are many more places to sell your products but I will look at the reasons why I have used these and the products that they are suited to.

eBay

This is my favourite place to sell. You can sell most items on this platform and it even makes it very easy to sell worldwide with the Global Shipping Program.

Items can be listed very quickly and customers can easily ask questions and make offers.

When selling on eBay I always list my items on ‘Buy it now’ rather than auction as you will achieve a much higher selling price.

Read how I got started making money online with eBay here.

Amazon

Another platform you can sell on is Amazon. Selling on Amazon is not as easy as eBay and is only worth using for certain products.

New items tend to be better to sell on Amazon, especially toys and board games. If you are planning on selling on Amazon make sure you research the product you are selling to make sure it is the best place to sell it.

Depop

Depop is a website and app that allows you to sell clothing through their platform. If your niche is clothing, especially vintage or unusual clothing then Depop could be a good option.

Vinted

Vinted is similar to Depop and is good for selling clothing. The stand out feature of this site is that there are no selling fees so you get to keep all the profit.

Facebook Marketplace

As well as being a good option for buying stock, Facebook Marketplace is also useful for selling your items especially if you sell bulky items that need collecting.

The main downside to selling on this platform is that you will be selling to your local area so your sales may be more limited.

What Items Should You Resell

Choosing what items to resell can sometimes be difficult. Always research your niche to find what is easily available and which type of items sell quickly and at a good price.

Here are a few popular and easy to find niches to consider.

  • Clothing
  • Toys
  • Books
  • Gaming
  • Footwear

As you can imagine, the list of things you can sell is endless but these are a few niches that I have had success with but you should always look for others that might suit you better.

Let’s look at why I have chosen these niches.

Clothing

Clothing is the niche that I have had the most success with. I have found it to be the easiest type of product to find and can be very cheap to buy.

I always look for vintage or designer brands which will command a higher resale price. There is a bit of a learning curve while you work out what sells and what doesn’t sell but after some trial and error you will know what to look out for.

You can also sell your own clothes that you don’t wear anymore to keep your stock topped up.

Toys

Selling toys can be very profitable if you choose the right type. Vintage and collectable toys will always sell well but might be more difficult to find.

Board games can be popular, especially in the run up to Christmas and sell well on Amazon.

Baby and younger child toys can also sell quickly but always research anything that you are thinking of buying.

Toys are one of the easier items to find if you are looking for retail arbitrage products as they are often on sale at retail stores.

Books

Some books can be quite valuable and some worth nothing at all so a knowledge of this niche is required.

School and University text books can sell well and books in specialised niches such as Manga.

Charity shops are full of books and usually at very cheap prices so it is always worth looking out for the more valuable ones.

Gaming

The gaming niche covers a lot of different products such as PC or console games, gaming hardware or even vintage and collectable gaming items.

It can be a very competitive market and again a good knowledge of the products is required to make a good profit. The good news is that there are lot’s of gaming products around so can be picked up quite often.

Footwear

Footwear can be easily combined with the clothing niche and gives you good options to specialise.

You could choose to sell trainers which are always popular. Handmade designer shoes which can sell for hundreds of pounds is another option.

All types of second hand shoes can be found in large quantities and tend to sell quickly.

How Much Money Can You Make Reselling

So how much money can you make reselling?

Well the answer depends on the niche that you are, the time that you put into it and the size that you want to grow your business to.

My reselling business is run on a very part time basis and can make anywhere between £200-£500 per month. This could easily be increased if I had the time to find more stock and grow the business further.

Your results will depend on your own situation and you can adjust how much time and effort you put into it to achieve the sort of profit your require.

The good news is, you can easily make money reselling and usually the amount per hour that you put in can be very profitable.

Tips For Resellers

Now you have decided that you want to make money reselling you will want to cut the time it takes to get started. To help you along, here are some tips to help you start your reselling journey.

  • Choose a niche you are familiar with
  • Consider postage costs
  • Look for products you can find easily
  • Sell items that interest you
  • Make sure you have enough room for your inventory

Choose A Niche You Are Familiar With

Choosing the right niche can make or break your reselling business. If you make the wrong choice you could be left with items that you can’t sell. When this happens you won’t make the profits you were hoping for.

Being familiar with the niche that you choose it will save you time and lower the chance of buying the wrong items.

Consider Postage Costs

When you are deciding which products to sell always consider how easily you can post them to your customers and the postage costs involved.

Getting this wrong could see you losing money in your reselling business.

Always consider the size and weight of the products as this will directly affect the cost of posting the item out.

If possible choose products that are lightweight and preferably quite small to keep your postage costs down.

Look For Products You Can Find Easily

Choose a product or niche that can be found easily in your area. This will ensure that you can always find new stock for your business and create a regular income.

To make a consistent amount of money in your reselling business you need to have new stock on a regular basis.

Sell Items That Interest You

Selling items that interest you will make running your reselling side hustle much more enjoyable. This will keep you focused on growing your business to the level that you want.

When you are interested in the products and have a good knowledge of the niche then you are already ahead of the game in creating a successful and profitable business.

Make Sure You Have Enough Room For Your Inventory

Once you start buying in stock you will need somewhere to store it. This will probably be your house, especially in the beginning so make sure you have enough room for it.

You could store your items in a spare room or the loft or even a shed but always keep in mind that as you start to buy more stock it will start to take over whichever area you are storing it.

If space is limited, choose your products carefully as larger items can soon see you running out of storage space. Your stock will then start spreading into other areas of your home.

Running out of space will affect the organisation of your stock and slow you down when picking and packing items.

Products To Help Your Reselling Business

As your reselling business grows you might want to invest in products to help streamline the way you work. This can allow you to get the work done much more efficiently and increase you profit per hour worked.

Here are some products that will help you out.

Thermal Label Printer

With more sales you will inevitably have more parcels to post out. Hand writing labels can be time consuming and printing on a standard inkjet printer can be costly.

That’s where a thermal label printer comes in. With this type of printer there are no ink costs and it prints directly on to self adhesive labels.

Storage Boxes

Keeping your inventory organised is essential if you are going to make money reselling. Knowing the location of all your stock will allow you to pick and pack your orders quickly and save you valuable time.

Using storage boxes will keep your stock organised as well as keeping everything free from damage or dirt.

The size of boxes that you need will depend on the type of products that you sell and the space that you have to store them.

Postal Scales

When you are buying your postage online you will need to know the weight of your parcels. A good quality set of postal scales is helpful.

You could use a set of kitchen scales if you have some but I would advise you to get a good quality set as soon as possible.

The scales I use can be seen below

There are many other products that can help you out in your reselling business but these are a few of the most important ones as your business grows.
